Annual Bishop’s Appeal

Annual Bishop’s Appeal

The Annual Bishop’s Appeal kicks off in parishes during the Lenten Season.

We continue to pray for an end to the pandemic.  We realize the needs in our communities will continue; every prayer and every dollar will help us minister to our brothers and sisters in need today and through next year.

  • Mail processing, check processing, and acknowledgement letters processing may be delayed.  If you have a question or concern about a check that you have mailed to our offices, please first send an email message to If email is not possible, please call and leave a message at our office (330-744-8451 ext. 316) and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

Please know that we are doing everything possible to ensure safe and accurate processing of the gifts you have entrusted to us.

Every Lent it is custom in this local Church for the Bishop to ask for your financial help with the Annual Bishop’s Appeal. I am continuing this practice not only because it has been our custom, but also because I know from my seminary training and 32 years of being a priest that “the needs of the Church are always greater than our own”.

–  Most Reverend David J. Bonnar, Bishop of Youngstown.

2021 Goal                $4.0 Million
