Warm Hearts for Warm Homes

 In News

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Youngstown is calling upon Catholics and others of good will to support a special collection to provide winter utility assistance to individuals and families in need.  In conjunction with “Poverty Awareness Month,” Catholic Charities is sponsoring the annual “Warm Hearts for Warm Homes” campaign (formerly Keep the Kids Warm) in parishes on the weekend of January 13th and 14th, 2024, as well as throughout the cold winter months online!

This important effort raises funds to help families with children, working poor adults and older adults on fixed incomes with utility assistance during the cold winter months.  More than 163,000 people are currently living in poverty, in the six counties of the Diocese of Youngstown.

As the need for utility assistance continues to rise, Catholic Charities is asking for your support.

Donations can be sent to Catholic Charities, Warm Hearts for Warm Homes, 144 West Wood Street, Youngstown, Ohio 44503.

Donations can also be made securely online at  here.     (preferred option)
