We all know that necessities such as paper towels, laundry detergent, and bar soap can add significant dollars to our monthly grocery expenses.
Many of the individuals and families Catholic Charities serves have a difficult time affording these basic products, which cannot be purchased with SNAP (food stamp) benefits.

The Catholic Charities Community Cupboard Campaign collects personal hygiene, cleaning, and paper products that are needed in order to feel good about ourselves.

When Catholic Charities is able to offer these items to our clients, we affirm– and sometimes restore– their dignity and sense of self-worth.

Local parishes, community organizations and youth groups will be asked to collect these taxable pantry items from July 18 through July 25 and drop them off at the local Catholic Charities agency site nearest them.

A list of drop-off sites can be viewed on our locations page. Donors are strongly encouraged to call the site first to confirm delivery details, such as office hours.

 

Please support the Community Cupboard Campaign by:

  • Join us in prayer for those struggling to provide for their families.
  • Donate hygiene and cleaning products to your local Catholic Charities agency. Donated items will be distributed to those in need.
    This is a great service project for parish groups, youth groups, and families.
  • Purchase hygiene or cleaning products through Amazon Smile.
    Purchases can be delivered directly to an agency site and 0.5% of your eligible Amazon Smile purchase will be donated back to Catholic Charities.
