July Happenings at Adult Day Services in Louisville

The Adult Day Services team has been striving to provide creative activity interventions to our participants who remain homebound following the current health pandemic. Even as COVID restrictions begin to lift in our communities, Adult Day Centers in Ohio are classified as healthcare settings, requiring us to maintain our masking, testing, and social distancing protocols that were set forth in March of 2020.

Therapeutic activities for home delivery

We have been fortunate, over the past 12 months, to have the assistance of Direction Home in reaching out to our “Home-Bound” participants with activity deliveries twice a week. As we move into our second summer of remote activity access, we wish to extend our sincere appreciation to The Sisters of Charity Foundation, of Canton.  Through their generous grant, we have been given an opportunity to provide enhanced, individualized activity resources to our participants.  These resources are serving “in-house” participants, who attend our Adult Day Center throughout the week, as well as those who continue to receive “at home” activity deliveries.

As we journey through these post-pandemic recovery efforts, we remain thankful for the support of Direction Home and The Sisters of Charity.  We look forward to sharing enhanced activity services to our participants and their loved ones in the months ahead!
