Stark County’s Men Who (Don’t) Cook

 In News

If this were a “normal” year, we would be making final preparations for our Stark County Men Who Cook (MWC) event.  In this unprecedented year, however, that is not possible.

We are posting this with several purposes in mind. First, we hope and pray that you, and those you love, are doing well and staying safe during this difficult and uncertain time.  Second, if you have supported our MWC event in previous years, we thank you for your past support. Third, we remind you that the work of Catholic Charities continues, even during a pandemic.

We realize that many of you have suffered hardships due to the impact of COVID-19 and that, as a result, you may not be in a position to help financially.  If that is your circumstance, pray for us as we pray for you.  If, however, you have been more fortunate, please consider donating a portion of what you would have otherwise contributed through your participation in MWC.  The numbers of those needing assistance with the very basics (e.g. rent, utilities, food) have only grown since last year, and your support will enable Catholic Charities to help those less fortunate residents here in Stark County.

May God keep you safe and bless you for your generosity.
