First Step for Change

 In Blog, News

Catholic Charities’ annual First Step for Change campaign, an important fund raiser held during “Respect Life Month” (October) took place in parishes, schools and other organizations throughout the Diocese throughout the month of October.  All participants were provided a refillable plastic baby bottles take home, fill with spare change, and return to their church, school or organization by October 31.

IF YOU HAVE NOT TURNED IN YOUR BOTTLE, PLEASE RETURN IT AT THIS TIME.

Funds collected help to provide material assistance, such as food, formula, diapers, wipes, and a limited number of cribs and other larger items to low-income pregnant women and families served by Catholic Charities’ First Step programs across the diocese.

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to coordinate this project and all who are participated.

Please arrange to count your change (and dollars) and send one check payable to Catholic Charities (Attn: First Step for Change), 144 West Wood Street, Youngstown, OH 44503.  This is a great  volunteer opportunity.  You can choose to keep your empty bottles to use for next year or return them to the Diocese.
